H.E. Engineer Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Zamil holds B.Sc. and MA. certificates in Industrial Engineering from South California University since 1968. After his return from USA, H.E. occupied many leading positions as follows:
- Deputy General Manager of Saudi Consultancies House (1968-1976)
- Deputy President and Executive President of Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) from 1976 to1983.
- Industry and Electricity Minister in KSA
- Chairman of Al Zamil For Industry (1996 to present)
- Chairman of the Saudi International Petrochemicals Co. "SIPCHEM" (1999 to present)
- Chairman of "SAHARA Petrochemicals" (2004 to present)
- Chairman of Al Inma' Bank (2007 to present)
During his time as Industry and Electricity Minister, H.E. Engineer Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Zamil held the position of the Chairman of SABIC board and other subsidiary companies, Saudi Consultancies House and Saudi Electricity Company.
