"SAHARA Petrochemicals" give much care to our environment and our surroundings through the development of many strict laws against damage of environment and its different components such as air, water and soil in addition to the development of policies that guarantee the maintenance of this surroundings in the manner in which God, be He exalted, has created it; clean, pure and free of pollution and imperfections.

We are at "SAHARA Petrochemicals" concerened about environment by deigning our facilities according to local and international standards in order to reach the primum solutions in this field under the supervision of our envirnment engineers. Our policy differ in many aspects i.e., to put environment in consideration when designing our productive factories and facilities; also we choose manufacturing techniques that are of less harm to environment. Also we take in consideration the local and international measures required for handling trash and manufacturing garbage in a safe and secure manner when performing collection and transporting processes to safe destruction places using the most modern technologies for the treatment of industrial garbage and to reduce their effect on environment in high percentages; this is in order to ensure having the best environmental solutions in this regard. In order to reduce damages to environment we are now making use of recycling some of the garbage to reuse the same so as to reduce costs and provide an effective solution for garbage problem in general.

The protection of our external milieu and its components against pollution is the point of care and focus whether in soil, water or atmosphere. For soil protection we prepared an ambitious and periodical program to measure pollution percentage in soil, the extent of its effect on underground water in our production locations. Regarding water, we use distinguished technologies in the scope of recycling sea water that is used for cooling our factories; we also calibrate water temperature and ensure that it is free of chemical materials before returning it back to the sea a thing that will ensure, God will, the protection of sea beings from death due to temperature and pollution or be compelled to emigrate to other places. As for the protection of the atmosphere, we constantly measure the constant emissions from our factories and analyze their effect on our milieu; where we seek to reduce these emissions to the least possible level as we are committed to the approved international environment measurements.
