On Sunday, February 28 2010, SAHARA and its affiliates celebrated the completion of 1 million working hours without lost time injury. The ceremony was attended by Engr, Esam F. Himdy, Managing Director of SAHARA Board, Engr, Saleh M. Bahamdan – SAHARA Executive President and Engr, Omar S. Bahobail - President of AL Waha accompanied by general managers, managers and all employees.

The celebration started with an introduction by Engr, Saeed Al-Qarni – Industrial Security Manager, followed by a speech of Engr, Omar S. Bahobail -AL Waha President in which he thanked all staff for their discipline and highlighted the importance of safety in work environment.
In his speech, Mr. Saleh M. Bahamdan -SAHARA Executive President expressed his pleasure of first achievement in trial production phase.

Finally, Engr, Esam F. Himdy, Managing Director of SAHARA Board, delivered a speech of enhancing the safety commitment and expressed his sincere thanks to all staff lines for their cooperation which resulted such great achievement .He also wished them continues success in achieving further achievements in this field.

At the end, key contractors were honored as part of SAHARA commitments towards its partners before collective pictures were taken.
